ECHO is delighted to be named as a finalist in this year’s Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs).

The highly regarded awards represent best practice in security performance. A panel of renowned experts use evidence-based criteria to judge entrants. They honour those who make an outstanding contribution to the security industry and recognise the individuals and businesses who keep us all safe.

The awards have been running for almost a decade. Speaking about the 2022 entrants, Professor Martin Gill, Founder of the OSPAs said: “All those that were nominated should feel very proud that they were put forward for an OSPA; regardless of whether they have reached finalist status. The competition was very tough this year”.

The 2022 OSPAs have attracted more submissions and greater diversity than ever before. The 28 independent judges faced a challenging task narrowing down the entries, to no more than ten finalists for each category.

ECHO is one of ten finalists in the Outstanding Security Partnership category. This category recognises a successful security partnership which delivers exceptional performance. ECHO is a collaborative venture between the NPCC and the Alarm industry. Its stakeholders and partners bring a wealth of experience to deliver a revolution in emergency response times. The OSPA judges were looking for effective partnerships which achieve tangible goals.

The winners of the OPSAs will be announced on 24th February 2022 in a gala ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel.
